Grabbing more market share through a successful September
Update from Mike Sharman
Sharman Quinney have been experiencing magnificent amounts of buyers searching for a new home; all thanks to the stamp duty holiday.
September proved to be a great success. Mike Sharman, Managing Director comments:
“The September market continued in the same vein as we have seen following our return to almost normality after lock down. Sales reported were up by 42% versus September 2019 and new properties coming to the market remain strong. But the noticeable increase was the staggering amount of buyers who are still searching for a new home.
“Clearly the Stamp duty holiday remains a serious attraction for most buyers who are looking to save thousands on moving. The business throughout is experiencing a seriously robust market, as is our lettings business, as demand from tenants continue to go from strength to strength.
“In addition, our mortgage
applications have risen on home purchases so we continue to bask in a unique
time for the property market.”
Mike Sharman finishes with a big thank you to the wonderful Sharman
Quinney teams who continue to out- perform many of our competitors; with clear
evidence of our market share growing throughout our network.
