Mayor opens office as Sharman Quinney branches out to Thrapston

Sharman Quinney is delighted to have finally presented its brand new office in Thrapston to the public after opening for business earlier this summer.

The new service, which signals the company’s first venture into Northamptonshire, was officially declared open by the Mayor of Thrapston on 19 September, and the office has made a promising start in the thriving market town.

Headed up by Branch Manager Johnson Roy, who takes the reigns of his first Sharman Quinney branch since joining the company in January, the new service hosts a full residential sales provision to the local community. Sharman Quinney’s sales team at Thrapston boasts nearly 40 years’ collective property services experience and its staff are well-placed to help a wide range of customers secure moves in the final quarter of 2013 and beyond.

Manager Johnson, who was promoted from the company’s Werrington branch to take up his new role, says: “We are absolutely delighted at launching this new Sharman Quinney service in Thrapston. This is a landmark move for the company and is in keeping with our strategy to broaden our fantastic level of service into Northamptonshire.”

Johnson and his new team have experienced a busy start to life in Thrapston as the market gathers pace in the traditional surge of activity in the final quarter. Sharman Quinney’s new service has certainly hit the ground running and its team are delighted at the buoyancy of the town’s local market.

“We are definitely seeing a great deal of interest from buyers and sellers across the local housing market at present,” continues Johnson. “In line with the trends reported nationally, the number of buyers registering an interest in purchasing a home is very high in Thrapston. Not only this, but buyers are less speculative and more active than in recent years as we have seen by the increases in offers and sales.”
