New manager at Hampton’s number one estate agent*
Sharman Quinney is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Kirtland-Brown as Residential Sales Manager at its blossoming Hampton office.
He joins the Hargate Way branch, which was recently named the leading agent in the town*, when buyer activity traditionally increases following the distractions of the summer holidays.
Matthew brings a decade’s estate agency experience to his new position, and with it an in-depth knowledge of Peterborough and its busy property market. He joins Sharman Quinney in Hampton having previously worked from its Market Deeping, Orton and Stamford branches.
Matthew’s latest appointment sees him take control of an entire branch for the first time with the company, and he has worked his way up through Sharman Quinney’s ranks since joining from a local agent in 2009.
His strong property services background and fantastic knowledge of the town will prove invaluable at what is expected to be a busy few months for Sharman Quinney's Hampton office, which has witnessed a significant increase in sales so far in 2013 compared with the first eight months of last year.
On his appointment, Matthew says: “I am thrilled to be joining Sharman Quinney in Hampton, especially at such an exciting time in the local property market. I am looking forward to meeting buyers, sellers and new customers at the branch and am keen to oversee the company's ongoing success in the area.”
Demand for homes in Hampton is so strong at present, says Matthew, that now represents a fantastic time to sell a home in the area.
"There are certainly more buyers than properties available at present," he continues. "We are registering hungry customers on a daily basis at our branch and it is clear that Hampton remains a very popular part of Peterborough. Its well-regarded local schools and growing community make it a perfect fit for a wide range of purchasers, and we have been achieving quick sales at great prices throughout the summer.
"Significantly, September is also the month when we see many would-be purchasers turn their attention back to moving house following the distractions of the holiday season and the school break, so we are expecting further growth in demand in the coming weeks," Matthew continues. "Many customers are already re-entering the local property market with the intention of securing a move before Christmas so there are plenty of positive signs if you are looking to sell up in the area."
