Promotion at Cambourne

Local selling agent Sharman Quinney is pleased to announce the promotion of Frances McDermott to Senior Negotiator at its thriving Cambourne branch.

Frances joined the award-winning estate agency in 2010 and, despite having no previous industry experience, quickly rose through the ranks at the High Street office. Starting as administrator, her talents were soon recognised and she was promoted to become the branch’s negotiator after just two months.

Her ongoing success as part of the small but dynamic team at Cambourne has seen her develop a fantastic knowledge of the buoyant local property market over the last three years, culminating in her most recent appointment.

On her promotion, Frances says: “I am thrilled to be named Senior Negotiator at Sharman Quinney in Cambourne especially at such an exciting time in the local property market. Buyers and those looking to sell are returning to the market with renewed confidence and we are experiencing the traditional rush in activity this Spring.”

She continues: “My promotion is great for me personally but is also a fantastic testament to the recent success of the branch. We have a brilliant team here at Sharman Quinney in Cambourne and our collective experience and knowledge of the local market means we are able to help a wide range of customers achieve fantastic results in the area.”

Cambourne remains particularly popular with young families, according to the branch, thanks to its growing community and plethora of excellent local schools. Frances adds: “Cambourne is such an exciting place to be at present and we are seeing increasing numbers of young families wanting to remain in the area when upsizing. The area has three well-regarded schools, with a fourth soon to be completed, and those with young children are keen to move within our catchment area.

“Cambourne also has a number of sustainable employers, such as Cambourne Business Park and BMW, and families who buy here are keen to remain part of our growing community.”
